Since I'm going to travel tomorrow I made a mixtape so I don't need to hear the rich guy next to me talk on his mobile phone and playing with his snot. Here's the tracklist:

And yeah, Manlig Kärlek might play in the almighty Swedish capital in March. More on that later.

New song feb. 2009

The past is buried. If you want to hear my old songs buy my tapes. Here's a new song. It features Jonas Juuso on metal scraps, organ and other stuff. It will propably be a part of a new tape that I'm working on. More about that later. And I'll most likely upload new songs soon. Soon as in next month.

Ain't no hair like the crappy new hair I've got.

All of my songs are gone. Both from this homepage and from my computer. (I had to delete and install everything on my computer, and I sorta kinda forgot about my songs). I have 'em on tape and on CD-r, but right now I don't really have the time and/or energy to fix with making MP3:s of my old songs. I'm working on new material. And maybe I'll try to update this darn blog more frequently. Till then -> Buy "Lukten" at hockey-rawk.com It's lo-fi-noisemadness at it's best.

Tape released!

This is how the cover of my new tape looks like. It's a nice tape. It means you no harm. You can read more about it at Hockey Rawks homepage: hockey-rawk.com There you might even be able to order it! Wow! If you want to get ahold of it by trading I'm game. The record contains samples of and tributes to friends, Slas, Picnic Pals, christmas songs, Kevin Drumm, Mole Says Hi, Beach Boys, Livets Ord, Jonas Juuso, Morrissey, Les Baxter, Marlena Lampinen, Can't, Yes, Brian Ruryk and many more. Namedropping, it's the only fun in town.

I did a gig this wednesday. It went okay, but I felt weird and like I was in a carcrash. I saw some lights, my arms was swinging and my head bopping. And everything was kinda hazy. Maybe I will put up some clips/pictures/sounds from it if I find it.

In the meantime I'm working on a new tape and maybe a new gig. Everything is smooth sailing. Keep your hat on.

New single

The tape will be out in September. I'm gonna change the title, since it didn't work out well on my focus group. I did a single this weekend. This is not Manlig Kärlek, this is... Well, choose yourself from the list in the first post.

The A-side, "Good Blood, Bad Blood (Machine)":

The B-side, "Good Blood, Bad Blood (Man)":

As you may notice the theme is a theme I came up with all by myself: "Man vs. Machine". The single will be released as a 7" and 12" vinyl on a German label next summer.

Third

The tape is of course delayed. It has changed name to "Lusselelleland" which a reference to a famous song we swedes sing around christmas, or lucia to be more accurate. "Lusselelle, lusselelle, eleven nights before christmas..." The title is very personal and reflects the music in a good way.

The tape will hopefully be released in august. It's up to the dipshits at DHL. They've been making a fool of themselves for quite some time now. I hope and sacrifice prey so that they'll get their act together and fly right.

The layout is done and all the music too. It will be a c-40 with 18 fine songs on the a-side and two lengthy songs on the b-side. It will contain samples, untuned guitars, cassette experiments, no-fi-pop, a Mole Says Hi-remix, a feeble attempt to take drones somewhere and noise, noise, noise.

Here's two teasers. The first is called "Les Baxter Hårgelé" ("Les Baxter Hair Gel") and the second is called "Slagsmål På Bondgården" ("A Fight At The Farm"), and are both from the A-side:
