Back from summer vacation

Howdy dowdy. After the Malmö-thing Manlig Kärlek took a litte hiatus. We did other stuff. Such as school work, bought books and records, moved. Now we're back and working on new material. Seven songs is already done and hopefully there will be a new release early next year. So... This is just a little simple post to say to you all: We are still alive and if you want us to play at your birthday, Bar Mitzva, hippiefestival or whatever - drop us a line.

Tapes and Malmö

This is the new tape. The Manlig Kärlek-side is called "Mopsiga Barn" and on the flipside Edvina Engels gives you three tracks, not one track as I falsely stated in my previous post. Order it from Hockey Rawk: hockey-rawk.com

The Krets-gig went great. Guitarstrings were bent, shoes got hit in the head and in the end people got candyfloss. Oh, happy day. Manlig Kärlek even did a collab with Mole Says Hi. Fantastic.

Now everything is back to normal and it makes me sick and hollow. Oh, the pain, the pain of it all.

Things in the works

Tape releasing, live playing, tom fooling, rocket launching. Manlig Kärlek will play at the fancy gallery Krets in Malmö (a trashy swedish city) the 27 june 2009. There you can also buy the new Edvina Engels-split. It's gonna be greater than any cornflake can possibly be. Read more at this homepage: krets.info See you there.

News update May 2009

I'm recording songs to my split with Edvina Engels. The Edvina Engels-side is going to be a 11 minute long track of synt fuck-ups and harsh and catchy noise. Kinda remind me about Can't from time to time.

My side will be called "Mopsiga Barn" ("Nosey Kids"). It will be released in the end of June 2009. Maybe/propably Manlig Kärlek will play live in Malmö around that time, as a sort of releaseparty.

Here's some samples from the upcoming tape. Don't know if they'll end up on the finished product, so enjoy, friends and people I've never met.

First song - "Rör På Påken" ("Move Your Fats")

Second song - "Kalsongryckt" ("Wedgie'd")

New song March 2009

Here's a new song. It contains Jonas Juuso on organ, if you can hear that. And a couple of samples from some tapes with lovely hawaii-music. The track is yet to be titled. TBA, you know.

Live in Stockholm

March: Working on a new tape, propably a split-tape. Doing school work. Writing about the ozone layer and buying records. Discovering that Rasmus Nalle sounds kind of creepy and feeling alienated in a youth center. Boy, oh, hoy.
Manlig Kärleks new songs sounds great. If you want to sample some of it you can get your sorry beehive to Strand at Hornstull in the Swedish capital. It's gonna be a Hockey Rawk showcase party, yeah. Manlig Kärlek will give you one heck of a show, with some suprises.
